Who is responsible

Cleared, Industrieweg 3Y, 8263 AA Kampen, is responsible for your personal data in Cleared. Ask privacy questions at info@evenlystudios.nl.

Which data we use

Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, your name. Without an account we create an anonymous session for your trial.

Practice: your answers, time per question, progress per region, mock exams, reports about questions, best game scores and your conversations with the tutor.

Payments: Mollie processes your payment. We see your plan, its status, the amount and the payment method, not your full card or account number. We keep your consent to the end of the right of withdrawal with your purchase.

Technical: your IP address to prevent abuse, cookies to keep you signed in, and error reports to fix outages. Usage statistics only if you agree to them.

Why, and on what legal basis

To provide the service you use: your account, progress, mock exams, the tutor and payments (performance of the contract). To keep Cleared secure and working and to improve questions from aggregated statistics (legitimate interest). For usage statistics (consent, which you can withdraw at any time). For the tax records of payments (legal obligation).

How long we keep data

We keep your account and progress until you delete your account, which you can do yourself under Account. We delete an anonymous trial without activity at the latest 12 months after your last answer. We keep payment records for 7 years, as tax law requires.

Who we share data with

Only with service providers who help us, under a data processing agreement: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database, in Frankfurt), Anthropic (the tutor: the question and your messages, without your name or email address), Resend (email), PostHog in the EU (statistics, only with consent) and Sentry (error reports). When data leaves the EEA we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Payments go through Mollie in Amsterdam. For the payment itself Mollie is also responsible in its own right, under the rules for payment services.

Your rights

You can see, correct or delete your data, take it with you, object and withdraw your consent. Email us at info@evenlystudios.nl. If you disagree with us, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or the regulator in your own country.

Security and age

Connections are encrypted and in the database every user sees only their own data. If you are younger than 16, ask a parent or guardian for permission before you create an account.
