Reading a METAR
A METAR is a weather observation at an airfield, usually every half hour or every hour. It is short and always in the same order: station, time, wind, visibility, weather, cloud, temperature and dew point, and pressure.
A METAR from EGKB starts with those four letters: the ICAO code of the airfield. Then come the day of the month and the time in UTC, with a Z after it.
