Morse ident
How it works
- A VOR or NDB sends its ident in Morse. On the chart the code is printed next to the station.
- Read the dots and dashes and choose which of the four stations it is.
- Turn the sound on to hear the ident as a 1020 Hz tone, as in your headset.
- 75 seconds. After a few right idents the stations start to look more alike.
